East London

ECG Workshop held on 16 January 2010
Prof AO held an ECG workshop for more than 40 Medical and Allied professionals! It was kindly organized by Dr Alan Gordon, was most interesting and lasted for nearly 2 hours! Everyone felt very privileged and really hope that Prof AO will visit East London soon again to share his expertise and knowledge!

PACE at Iron Man - 17 January 2010
Sunday 17 January saw 2000 Ironman70.3 athletes lineup with 15 of them wearing the very slick and impressive PACE sponsored triathlon outfits! Even though I am biased towards PACE, they really looked fast and professional and it was great to see and hear a PACE cheer especially the PACE announcement when a PACE athlete crossed the finish line!

Report back on meeting held on 15 January 2010
Sanet Terblanche organized the first East London PACE Support Group meeting. More than 40 people attended as well as local Cardiologists Dr. Kettles. Prof AO gave a very interesting talk as usual and many questions were asked. The meeting ended with delicious snacks provided by Medtronic. We really look forward to the next meeting!
